The Malaysian currency is the Malaysian Ringit(RM) and are available in the denominations of RM1, RM2, RM5, RM10, RM50, and RM100, and coins from 1 sen, 5sen, 10sen, 20sen, and 50sen.
Travellers cheques and foreign currencies can be charged for Malaysian Ringgit at banks, hotels, and major shopping complexes. A nominal fee will be charged for currenct conversion.
