With more than some 32 ethnic tribes and over 80 local dialects spoken Sabah not only holds some mysterious wildlife and geography, but people as well.

About one-third of the population are Kadazandusun, a group that inhabits mainly the west coast and interior of Sabah. The other two main indigenous groups are the Murut and Bajau. There are also a small comunities of chinese that settled here during the colonial days.
